After the Buffalo Bills had reportedly come to a contract agreement with free agent guard
Brian Winters on Monday, the team made some room on the roster on Tuesday with the release of six-year offensive lineman Spencer Long.

August 4, 2020 In just one season in Buffalo, Long appeared in 14 games and was primarily used as a utility lineman who could play both guard and center. The 29-year-old had signed a three-year deal with the Bills back in February of 2019 worth $12.6 million.
Winters was released by the New York Jets on Sunday after being a starter on their offensive line since 2013. The 29-year-old has started 79 games over the course of his seven-year career, all spent with the Jets.
These reported moves come after starting right guard Jon Feliciano
suffered a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery on Friday. He is expected to be out of the Buffalo lineup indefinitely, but head coach Sean McDermott
said Monday on the Howard and Jeremy Show that they were confident that he's going to be back and ready to go, perhaps during the 2020 season.
The Bills roster was set at the maximum limit of 81, and general manager Brandon Beane said on Sunday that in order to bring any players in for visits, the team must have an open roster spot in order to host any free agents.
In another roster move made by the Bills on Tuesday, the team activated defensive tackle Vincent Taylor from the reserve/COVID-19 list. To make room on the 81-man roster, the team released linebacker Mike Bell.
