Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - Dylan Cozens didn't think his thumb injury suffered Saturday at development camp was all that serious, but things have changed.
Cozens has undergone a procedure on Wednesday on his left thumb and will be out for approximately 2-3 months.
Cozens was hit by Brandon Hickey during the 3-on-3 tournament. It was right after he picked up his only point on a drop pass for a goal.
The Sabres took Cozens with the seventh overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.
