Linus Ullmark stopped 39 shots and Rasmus Ristolainen scored his fifth goal of the season, but the Buffalo Sabres fell to the Boston Bruins on Saturday 2-1.
Ristolainen's goal came at 17:22 of the final period, a wrist shot that beat Tuukka Rask on the short side. For Ullmark, the game marked his second straight start, following last week's win over the Panthers.
Buffalo has now dropped seven out of 10 games heading into Tuesday's home game against the New Jersey Devils.
Let's go inside the locker room to see what Ullmark, Ristolainen, Zach Bogosian and Phil Housley had to say after the loss:
Linus Ullmark:
On the ups and downs of the game: "They're a good team. It's a tough building to play in. For sure, we didn't really come out in the second period as we wanted to, but we kind of stuck with it and then we came back. So there were some good things and there were some bad things, for sure."

Rasmus Ristolainen:
On the challenge that Boston presents: "That's a pretty good hockey team. They know what they're doing. They play their system pretty well. It's a hard building to play in. We gotta just understand it's not going to be easy for 60 minutes for us. We couldn't create enough today."
On the need to play a complete game: "We play well here and there...it's hard to win in this league and the games are going to get even tougher. We gotta bring it every night, every day, every practice."

Zach Bogosian:
On the defensive effort: "I just think our neutral zone wasn't very good. I think we gotta get pucks deep. Obviously, turnovers...you're playing defense the whole game."
On helping out the goaltenders: "That's the beauty of having a good goaltender, keeping you in games. We gotta do a better job of pushing pucks forward and giving [Ullmark] some help. We can't rely on our goaltenders every night."

Phil Housley:
On the effort in the third period: "I really liked the way we responded in the third period. We had a really good solid push. We're going to leave some holes open because we're trying to tie the game up, but it gave us an opportunity to get back in the game and tie it up."
On the effort in the second period: "Our second period was not characteristic of the way we can play. It's a good way to learn - when we do face adversity, we gotta dig down a little bit deeper there and try to get a pushback and get pucks into their zone and get on forecheck. There really wasn't much forechecking in the second period."
