The best from the 2018 NFL season were honored on Saturday night on the eve of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took home three awards, including the honor as the league's Most Valuable Player. New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley received Rookie of the Year honors, while Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald received a pair of honors as the AP Defensive Player of the Year and the Deacon Jones Award. 


Here were some of the other notable honors handed out at the NFL Honors show:

Pepsi Rookie of the Year: Saquoun Barkley - RB - New York Giants

FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Year: Patrick Mahomes - QB - Kansas City Chiefs; Saquoun Barkley - RB - New York Giants

AP Defensive Player of the Year: Aaron Donald - DT - Los Angeles Rams 

Salute to Service Award presented by USAA: Ben Garland - G - Atlanta Falcons

AP Offensive Rookie of the Year: Saquoun Barkley - RB - New York Giants

Game Changer Award presented by Gillette: Shaquem Griffin - LB - Seattle Seahawks 

AP Defensive Rookie of the Year: Darius Leonard - LB - Indianapolis Colts

Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award: Drew Brees - QB - New Orleans Saints

AP Comeback Player of the Year: Andrew Luck - QB - Indianapolis Colts

AP Assistant Coach of the Year: Vic Fangio - Defensive Coordinator - Chicago Bears

Deacon Jones Award: Aaron Donald - DT - Los Angeles Rams

AP Coach of the Year: Matt Nagy - Head Coach - Chicago Bears

AP Most Valuable Player: Patrick Mahomes - QB - Kansas City Chiefs

Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year: Chris Long - DE - Philadelphia Eagles
