  • Wizards sign Isaiah Thomas 

The veteran point guard is looking for a fresh start, hoping to return to the high level of play he was use to with the Boston Celtics. 

Thomas is hoping that place will be Washington. Playing time could increase significantly while John Wall continues to recover from a torn achilies.

  • Clippers re-sign Patrick Beverley

A key part of the Clippers run to the playoffs last season is staying put. Los Angeles has signed PG Patrick Beverley through 2022.

  • Golden State clears up cap space sending Andre Iguodala to the Grizzlies 

After handing D'Angelo Russell a max contract, the Warriors cleared up the neccessary salary cap space by trading former Finals MVP Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies for multiple draft picks.

Golden State is trading Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies, league source tells ESPN. Warriors are sending a 2024 protected first-round pick in the 2024 (protected 1-4), 2025 (protected 1) and 2026 unprotected.

  • Warriors add D'Angelo Russell through sign and trade with Brooklyn

The Golden State Warriors have replaced Kevin Durant in the form of D'Angelo Russell through a sign and trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Golden State and Brooklyn have agreed on a sign-and-trade, sending D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors on a four-year, $117M maximum contract, league sources tell ESPN.

Russell could now be the third splash brother shooting nearly 37% from three-point range last season (36.9%).

 

  • Durant and Irving teaming up in Brooklyn 

It is official. The speculation that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving wanted to join forces has become reality. Both stars are set to sign long-term deals with the Nets. 

Brooklyn is making a clean sweep tonight: Brooklyn will sign Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, league sources tell ESPN.

  • Philadelphia keep Tobias Harris and bring in Al Horford

The 76ers made sure it was just Jimmy Butler that was headed out of town. Philadelphia re-signed F Tobias Harris to a five year $180 million contract.

Veteran forward Al Horford is also headed to the city of brotherly love.

  • 76ers and Heat agree to sign and trade for Jimmy Butler

It looks like Butler's short time in Philadelphia is coming to an end.  The veteran guard is joining the Miami Heat through a sign and trade that will send Josh Richardson to Philadelphia.

  • Jazz sign another shooter in Bojan Bogdanovic

Utah didn't stop with trading for Mike Conley. The Jazz brought in another shooter to surround Conley and Donavan Mitchell by signing former Indianna Pacers veteran Bojan Bogdanovic.

  • Knicks add two free agents to the frontcourt

New York added two big men to the front court bringing in Julius Randle and Taj Gibson.

Knicks President Steve Mills released a statement after reports came out that New York was not willing to offer Kevin Durant a max contract due to his achilies injury.

  • Pelicans add veteran talent to young core

New Orleans has signed sharp shooting SG JJ Reddick and are on the verge of bringing in former Utah Jazz C Derek Favors to compliment their core of Zion Willamson, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, and Lonzo Ball.

Free agent guard JJ Redick has agreed to a two-year, $26.5M deal to join the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources tell ESPN.

  • Sign and trade sends Kemba Walker to Celtics and Terry Rozier to Charlotte

Kemba Walker is headed to Boston as expected but the Hornets were able to land G Terry Rozier as part of the sign and trade with the Celtics.

Rozier received a $58 million contract from the Hornets.

  • Damian Lillard to receive super max in Portland 

The Trail Blazers are set to pay their franchise point guard the largest contract in franchise history. After making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals, Portland is about to reward Lillard.

  • Bucks keep Khris Middleton with max deal

The right hand man to Giannis Antetokounmpo is staying in Milwaukuee.

Once free agency opens at 6 PM, All-Star Khris Middleton plans to return to the Milwaukee Bucks on a five-year, $178M contract, league sources tell ESPN. The deal is expected to include a player option on final year.

  • Malcolm Brogdon headed to Indianna

The former rookie of the year was traded from Milwaukee to Indianna.

  • Ricky Rubio to join Suns

  • Raptors C Marc Gasol picks up $25.6 million player option 

As Toronto focuses on retaining their reigning finals MVP in Kawhi Leonard, they will not have to worry about also losing Marc Gasol.
