(WGR 550) - The Sabres will not be playing in Montreal on Thursday night and are heading home after the NHL Board of Governors have suspended the season amid concerns for the outbreak of coronavirus. Reports say there was no opposition by the board to the recommendation.
The league's announcement comes one day after the NBA suspended their season when a player tested positive for COVID-19.
