It's been a whirlwind 24 hours for Buffalo Bills' first round pick Ed Oliver.

It started with the Bills taking Oliver with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday evening. On Friday, the newest Bills defensive tackle made the trip from Nashville, Tennessee to Buffalo and had his media rounds with Howard Simon and Jeremy White in the morning, followed by John Murphy and Steve Tasker on One Bils Live in the afternoon. Shortly after, Oliver was introduced to the rest of the Buffalo media at One Bills Drive.

Here is some of what he had to say:

Oliver on his gameplan:

"I just want to come in, compete and help this team win. I want to earn the trust of the coaches and the players."

Oliver on Kyle Williams:

"Kyle Williams is in a league of his own. I can't imagine even coming close to touching that guy's legacy. I texted with him last night, to see if he had any advice or anything he could teach me."

Oliver on his skillset and his usage in Buffalo:

"I won't be playing nose tackle, I'll be playing three-technique. I feel most comfortable at nose. I feel like my skillset is rare. I can help guys on the outside by getting pressure up the middle. You get sacks, you win games... What I can do better than anyone else is simply run around and play as hard as possible."

Oliver on playing Tom Brady:

"It'll be an honor to even be on the same playing field as someone that will wear a gold jacket one day."

Oliver on the match between he and Buffalo:

"I don't think I found my home. I think my home found me."

Oliver on his horse exploits:

"Anybody can take a picture on a horse. Not everyone can stand up on a horse. Like a horse whisperer. I got on my horse on draft morning, it just eased my nerves. I was very relaxed."
