Some quick thoughts on the retirement of Buffalo Bills quarterback Derek Anderson, in Twitter form:
In fact, at locker cleanout day, he even sounded as if he was ready to compete for the No. 2 job and seemed taken aback when a reporter basically indicated Barkley was the for sure No. 2 next year....

So, no, it's not that huge of a deal from a roster standpoint. But hopefully Allen can carry those lessons and take charge himself and not need someone like DA around to get to where he needs to be in 2019 on a daily basis. It mattered.
— Sal Capaccio -- (@SalSports) May 10, 2019As far as the QB room now: Interesting that Beane said at the team's website that he knew this was a possibility heading into the draft. Makes MUCH more sense now why they signed Tyree Jackson when so many questioned the need/want to do so...
— Sal Capaccio -- (@SalSports) May 10, 2019Tyree has a legit shot to make the roster now. Maybe they only keep 2 QBs. Can he beat out Barkley? If he doesn't but shows enough in camp/preseason, he may force their hand to keep all 3. Either way, he'll now get more reps and it will be fun to watch play out. /end
