Mock draft season is well in motion, with less than three weeks until the 2019 NFL Draft.

We've gotten into mock draft mode here at WGR with Sal Capaccio starting it off with his first mock draft, followed by Nate Geary just a couple of days later. I'm now throwing my hat into the ring with my first mock, but I have something a bit different from Sal and Nate for the Bills in Round 1. We'll go through to pick 40 in the second round.

Round 1:
1. Arizona Cardinals - QB - Kyler Murray (Oklahoma)2. San Francisco 49ers - DT - Quinnen Williams (Alabama)3. New York Jets - EDGE - Nick Bosa (Ohio State)4. Oakland Raiders - QB Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State)5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - EDGE - Josh Allen (Kentucky)6. New York Giants - EDGE - Rashan Gary (Michigan)7. Jacksonville Jaguars - OT - Jawaan Taylor (Florida)8. Detroit Lions - EDGE - Montez Sweat (Mississippi State)9. Buffalo Bills - TE - T.J. Hockenson (Iowa)

Yes, Ed Oliver is falling right into Buffalo's lap, but I suspect the Bills aren't done overhauling the offense. Tight end is a huge need still, despite the signing of free agent Tyler Kroft. Hockenson is seen, by some, as the best tight end in the class along with fellow Iowa tight end Noah Fant. More importantly, Hockenson and Fant alike are both talented enough to be worthy of a top-10 pick. The Bills go for Hockenson here, as the more complete tight end. While Fant is seen as a better pass catcher, Hockenson is still extremely athletic in his own right. Buffalo fills a need but also gets a talented player to become a favorite target for second-year quarterback Josh Allen. 10. Denver Broncos - LB - Devin White (LSU)11. Cincinnati Bengals - DL - Ed Oliver (Houston)12. Green Bay Packers - WR D.K. Metcalf (Mississippi) 13. Miami Dolphins - EDGE - Brian Burns (Florida State)14. Atlanta Falcons - DT - Christian Wilkins (Clemson)15. Washington Redskins - OL - Cody Ford (Oklahoma)16. Carolina Panthers - CB - Byron Murphy (Washington)17. New York Giants - QB - Drew Lock (Missouri)18. Minnesota Vikings - TE - Noah Fant (Iowa)19. Tennessee Titans - CB - Greedy Williams (LSU)20. Pittsburgh Steelers - LB - Devin Bush Jr. (Michigan)21. Seattle Seahawks - OT Andre Dillard (Washington State)22. Baltimore Ravens - WR - N'Keal Harry (Arizona State)23. Houston Texans - OT - Jonah Williams (Alabama)24. Oakland Raiders - EDGE - Clelin Ferrell (Clemson)25. Philadelphia Eagles - RB - Joshua Jacobs (Alabama)26. Indianapolis Colts - WR - Hakeem Butler (Iowa State)27. Oakland Raiders - CB - DeAndre Baker (Georgia)28. L.A. Chargers - DT - Jerry Tillery (Notre Dame)29. Kansas City Chiefs - OL - Erik McCoy (Texas A&M)30. Green Bay Packers - OL - Garrett Bradbury (NC State)31. Los Angeles Rams - S - Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (Florida)32. New England Patriots - OL - Dalton Risner (Kansas State)

Round 2:
33. Arizona Cardinals - OL - Chris Lindstrom (Boston College)34. Indianapolis Colts - EDGE - Chase Winovich (Michigan)35. Oakland Raiders - RB - David Montgomery (Iowa State)36. San Francisco 49ers - S - Jonathan Abram (Mississippi State)37. New York Giants - WR - Deebo Samuel (South Carolina)38. Jacksonville Jaguars - WR - A.J. Brown (Mississippi)39. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CB - Amani Oruwariye (Penn State)40. Buffalo Bills - WR - Marquise Brown (Oklahoma)

More offense for the Bills in Round 2 and simply put, the best player available on the board. Brown is a speedy terror that would be the guy running down the ball after Allen fires it deep down field. Brown is recovering from a Lisfranc surgery, which has dropped his draft stock. If not for the surgery, Brown would have been in the conversation for first receiver drafted in this class. With how aggressive Buffalo went after receivers in free agency, the team can afford to take Brown and not need to rush him through his recovery.
