Late night discussion: Do you believe yet?

The Buffalo Bills are one of six teams across the NFL that are undefeated after the first three weeks of the 2019 season. It is the first time the franchise has gotten to 3-0 since 2011.

With a vastly improved Josh Allen in his second season, there is a buzz around this team from both the media and fans.

How justified is it? Is it too early to consider Buffalo a legitimate threat in the AFC East and the conference? Does the strength of their first three opponents impact your view?

Fans took to Twitter to share what they think about the legitimacy of the undefeated start during Monday's late night discussion:

Late night discussion: Does the #Bills strength of schedule the first three weeks delay your belief in Buffalo as a contender in 2019?

Play the waiting game:

There are a lot of fans that are not fully convinced just yet. The Bills have not played a team that has a win in 2019. The New York Jets, New York Giants, and Cincinnati Bengals are all 0-3.

Um they played three teams that haven't won a game yet so yes.

Yeah..... A win is a win but they've made me nervous more than once in the past 3 weeks, against less than stellar teams. We'll see. pic.twitter.com/UauGwP8RvK

I still have little faith we've been here before..

With an undefeated New England Patriots team that has outscored their opponents 106-17 coming to town this Sunday, the Bills have a great, yet extremely challenging opportunity to remove this doubt.

A win is a win:

Taking a look at the rest of the Bills schedule, many contributors to the discussion think the winning isn't going anywhere.

No - doesn't matter who they beat - starting 3-0 means they need 7 more wins for playoffs. And they play the Jets and Dolphins 3 games. So 4 wins. They also play the Redskins. Down to 3 wins needed from games against Titans, Eagles, Browns, Broncos, Ravens, Eagles, Steelers, 2xNE

No because they get to play the dolphins 2x, the jets another time, Denver, and Washington. Tennessee isn't as scary as I thought either

Others believe this is a different team from past eras where Buffalo would have fallen in a trap game scenario against one of the last three opponents.

In the past, buffalo would lose at least one of the past three games. They need to show they can keep winning and bounce back after a loss

Author's choice:

The Bills aren't an elite team yet that deserves to be in the same breath as the Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, with a favorable schedule, a weakened Wild Card race, and the improvements from Allen, this is a playoff contender.

To show they are more than that, an opportunity to take down the Patriots at home to remain undefeated presents itself this Sunday. No better way to prove this is a new era of Bills football than by taking down the team you've only beaten twice in 18 years when Tom Brady plays all four quarters.
