If you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan living in the Philadelphia area, it appears that your best bet to watch Super Bowl LVII will be doing so at a house party.
Big Charlie's Saloon in South Philadelphia -- which describes itself as "Arrowhead East" -- announced Monday that they will not be open during the Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl matchup:
The suggestion from the noted Chiefs bar is that because there was too much of a demand for tickets on Super Bowl Sunday, they elected to be closed, rather than having in fans who don't regularly attend the bar and not being able to serve their regulars.
From here, you have to wonder if there was a fear that Eagles fans would outnumber Chiefs fans, given how difficult it will be to find a place to watch the game at in Philadelphia. Instead of having an environment where it may be hostile to be a Chiefs fan during Super Bowl LVII, perhaps the bar decided it would be better not to open at all.
