Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have reportedly found a new backer to help their bid to buy the Mets.

According to The New York Post, the celebrity couple is working with Galatioto Sports Partners investment bank, which is working with two investors who are considering a combined $250 million investment into a group to purchase the Mets.

The identity of the investors remains anonymous.

Galatioto Sports has previously represented the 76ers and worked with Joshua Harris and David Blitzer when they purchased the franchise in 2011. The two are also reportedly among the suitors to purchase the Mets.

The Wilpons have acknowledged they have "several" suitors to buy the team, but did not specify who they may be.

A-Rod and J.Lo, who have an estimated net worth of about $700 million, have also tabbed on JPMorgan Chase to help find investors in order to purchase the baseball franchise.

The two have returned to the table after their previous partnership with an investor turned sour.

The report in The New York Post also teases a “mystery bidder” to join the A-Rod and J.Lo team.

The Mets had nearly sold the team earlier this year to billionaire Steve Cohen, but the deal fell through in the last minute after a dispute on when the Wilpons would cede control to Cohen.
