Rookie defensive tackle Marlon Davidson joined the Midday Show on Tuesday fresh off the Atlanta Falcons practice field. It was the first time the guys practiced in full pads.

Davidson is the likely starter alongside veteran Grady Jarrett on that Falcons defensive line. He told 92.9 The Game that he's been soaking up all the information from the Pro-Bowler, but in his own 'Marlon Davidson' kind of way.

"I'm like a gnat at a barbecue with Grady Jarrett," Davidson said. "I'm following him everywhere I got to go, you know, just trying to mimic him; mimic his style, mimic his play. Just trying to find some little things to tighten up my game and be different."

"With Grady, man, he's extremely focused. He's laser-sharp focused. So everyday, I have to come in and match his intensity. I have to come in and match his focus, his drive for the game, everything about it."

The Falcons selected Davidson with the 47th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Auburn defensive lineman had 30 tackles, seven sacks and two forced fumbles in 2019.
