The Kansas City Chiefs have been the class of the AFC since Patrick Mahomes took over as their starting quarterback in the 2018 season.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills established themselves as a Super Bowl contender last season, but had their year ended in the AFC Championship Game against Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium.

Josh Allen did not sugar coat it on Wednesday: The Chiefs are the team to beat in the AFC.
"They are the Mecca of the AFC. That's the team that everyone aspires to be," Allen said during his weekly meeting with the Buffalo media. "To be in three AFC Championships in a row and two Super Bowls in a row, that's the type of level we want to be. In order to be the best, you have to beat the best."
Allen was fabulous in the Bills' Week 5 win in Kansas City, throwing for 309 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 59 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
