Los Angeles, Calif. (KNX News 97.1 FM/WGR 550) - This Saturday's National Football League game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers carries with it two 'firsts.'

Not only is it the first NFL game set to be streamed exclusively on Peacock, but the NFL and NBCUniversal announced Thursday the matchup will feature a commercial-free fourth quarter for the first time.

NBC says the game will have 40% less ad time than a typical one, which translates to 12 extra minutes of NFL content for fans.

What will the extra time be used for?

Some of it will give Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, and Melissa Stark - the trio set to call the game - time to dive deeper into the game's events. It will also give the "Football Night in America" studio team an opportunity to share their thoughts.

Capital One, Hyundai, and Walmart are sponsoring the commercial-free quarter.

Kickoff is scheduled at 8 p.m. EST on Saturday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
