Bills drop second-straight game in Monday night loss to Falcons

Buffalo couldn't take care of business in Atlanta, losing back-to-back prime-time games

Atlanta, Ga. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After suffering their first loss of the season at home last week, the Bills visit Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta looking to bounce back against the Falcons.

The Falcons won the toss and marched down the field against the Bills defense scoring the game's first touchdown with Tyler Allgeier running it in 21-yards.

The Bills offense responded with a touchdown of their own tying the game with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Dawson Knox.

After each team traded punts, the Falcons found the lead once again with a short nine yard pass from Michael Penix Jr. to Drake London who punched it into the endzone for the Falcons second touchdown of the game.

With the Bills offense stalling, the Falcons took advantage with a long 81-yard touchdown run thanks to Bijan Robinson, extending their lead 21-7.

As the Falcons' offense were firing on all cylinders the first half, the Bills offense were unable to put up points of their own in the second quarter as the teams headed to the locker room at half as the Falcons held their 21-7 lead.

It wasn't until near the end of the game when more points were scored as the Falcons kicked a 33-yard field goal to extend their lead 24-14.

As the Bills were attempting to close the gap with time running out, a tipped interception sealed the deal for the Falcons taking down the Bills in Atlanta and handing them their second loss of the season.
