Bills finalize 53-man roster for 2025 season

Rookie cornerback Max Hairston will begin the season on Injured Reserve

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills have announced their cut-down day roster moves on Tuesday, finalizing their 53-man active roster for the 2025 regular season.

Among the notable moves made by the Bills on Tuesday includes rookie cornerback Max Hairston and offensive lineman Tylan Grable being placed on Injured Reserve/Designated to Return. This means they are both ineligible to play or practice with the team until after the fourth game of the season.

Meanwhile, defensive end Michael Hoecht and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi will both be ineligible to play until after the sixth game due to their suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. They can begin practicing again with the club, though, after Week 4.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane will address the media on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. before practice begins at 3 p.m.
