Bills get several key players back for joint practice with Bears

Safeties Cole Bishop and Taylor Rapp both participated in Friday's practice in Chicago

Lake Forest, Ill. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The injury list for the Buffalo Bills is starting to shrink.

The Bills were able to get several key players back on the field Friday when they took part in a joint practice against the Bears at Halas Hall in Chicago.

Most notably, both safeties Cole Bishop and Taylor Rapp were back on the field together. While they were officially termed as "limited" prior to practice by head coach Sean McDermott, they lined up next to each other every time the first unit defense was on the field for either 11-on-11 or 7-on-7 work.

Starting left tackle Dion Dawkins was also back on the field after missing two days with a back flare-up.

During practice, running back Darrynton Evans and defensive back Te'Cory Couch both suffered hamstring injuries. The extent of the injuries for either player is unknown.
