Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR)- The Bills host the Lions on Thursday Night Football in Week 2 of the NFL as they look to get their first ever regular season win in the new Highmark Stadium.
After receiving the kickoff, the Bills set themselves up deep in their own territory when a flag was thrown but marched right down and Josh Allen would score the game's first touchdown with a one-yard run to give the Bills the lead 7-0.
The Bills offense would come back on the field and waste no time in getting back into the end zone as Allen would find Joshua Palmer for a deep pass and connecting for a 43-yard touchdown pass to extend their lead 14-0.
Jared Goff and the Lions offense would try make something happen, but the Bills defense would come up big again and the Bills offense would take the field to score another touchdown to extend their lead 21-0 thanks to a one-yard touchdown grab by Dawson Knox.
After struggling offensively for the first quarter and a half, the Lions would find the end zone when Goff connected with Jahmyr Gibbs for an 11-yard touchdown pass to cut their deficit 21-7.
