Los Angeles, CA (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After falling to the New England Patriots last week, the Buffalo Bills look to get back into the win column and keep control of the AFC East. They begin their road trip in Los Angeles taking on the Rams for Monday Night Football.

Ray Davis started off with a bang for the Bills, with a 70 yard kick return. All that effort though would be for very little as Josh Allen would take an 8 yard sack on third down. It wasn’t all for nothing though, as Tyler best successfully kicked a 49-yard field goal to put the bills ahead by three.

Buffalo’s defense was able to hold the Rams offense with Matt Stafford at quarterback, finding Puka Nacua for four targets, to a 50-yard field goal attempt. Harrison Mevis missed and the Bills would have another chance to pad the scoreboard.

Allen and the offense unfortunately would not be able to punch their ticket for a touchdown, but Tyler Bass would come out on the field on fourth and short and drill, a 23 yard field goal to extend the lead to six points.

The Rams hit pay dirt on their next drive, with Davonte Adams on a four yard touchdown after paper cutting the Bills defense with a 16 play drive. The Bills answered back and retook the lead on their following drive.

Allen found Ty Johnson on a short pass which turned into a huge gain as Johnson bolted down the field for a total of 40-yards. James Cook found the end zone on the next play with a 17-yard rushing touchdown. It was 13 to 7 with just over five minutes left in the first half.

The Bills defense was able to force another punt, but the offense, again, seem to be struggling to manage the clock. Allen tallied another interception on an ‘’arm punt.’’ Luckily, the Bills defense was able to hold back the Rams offense to end the half and the Bills maintained their lead.
