Bills missing number of key pieces for Wednesday's practice

Buffalo prepares to face the Jets this coming Monday night at MetLife Stadium

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills returned to the practice field on Wednesday without a number of key pieces ahead of their Monday night matchup with the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Those who did not practice on Wednesday included wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle), defensive tackle Ed Oliver (hamstring), running back James Cook (foot/toe) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (foot/toe).

Meanwhile, nickel cornerback Taron Johnson, linebacker Terrel Bernard, cornerback Taron Johnson and wide receiver Mack Hollins were also all seen in red, non-contact jerseys.

In addition, running back Darrynton Evans returned to practice, as he's been designated to return from Injured Reserve, where's he been since the start of the regular season.

The Bills' first official injury report of the week will come out Thursday.
