Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey on Tuesday and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Joe Brady on an interim basis with only seven games remaining in the regular season.

On Wednesday, several players gave insight into the 34-year-old Brady, and what he’s like on and off the field:

QB - Josh Allen:

“He’s got a lot of juice to him. He’s a former ballplayer himself. I think that he can relate to a lot of the guys, obviously he’s a fairly younger guy, a guy that’s been around the league. He’s been an offensive coordinator in the league. He’s been a national championship [play-]caller at the college level. So there’s a lot of faith in him. He’s been around a lot of football. He’s learned under a lot of really good coaches. We’re going to have to utilize his knowledge going forward.”

QB - Kyle Allen:

“I’ve always been a big fan of Joe. Joe’s always had us very prepared going into every week, super detailed guy. He’s going to give it everything he’s got. I’ve got a lot of confidence in him.”

“He knows how hard it is to play football and win in this league. He’s always been level, wins and losses, always getting us motivated and ready to go.”

Ryan Bates, who played at Penn State while Brady was a graduate assistant coach there:

”He’s a great offensive mind. He was a big part of what we were doing at Penn State. We were [No. 2] in the country. He was helping us game plan offenses... he did his thing at LSU. He knows how to call plays. He’s a smart dude, when it comes to scheming for defenses and trying to plan for an offense.”

“He’s smart. Great guy, fun to be around. He makes things fun. He’s enjoyable not only as a coach, but as a human being.”
