Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills are bringing back another familiar name to the secondary group with the re-signing of defensive back Cam Lewis to a two-year deal. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter was the first to report the signing.
Lewis has been a valuable backup safety and slot cornerback for the club over the last two years after spending the majority of his first three seasons between the practice squad and 53-man roster.
The 26-year-old has registered 55 total tackles, two tackles for loss and a forced fumble in 42 career games played with the Bills. He has also made four starts with the Bills since being signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University at Buffalo.
Lewis rejoins a safety group that consists of Taylor Rapp, Damar Hamlin and Kendall Williamson ahead of the 2024 season.
