Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills have brought back a key piece to their special teams for the foreseeable future, signing defensive back Sam Franklin Jr. to a three-year contract.
Franklin Jr. was an important contributor on special teams as a gunner this past season. He played in all 17 regular season games and two playoff games, registering a team-best nine solo tackles on special teams.
The 30-year-old joined the Bills last year as a free agent after playing for the Carolina Panthers for five seasons from 2020-24.
Franklin Jr. was set to become a Unrestricted Free Agent this offseason.
