The first injury report of the week was released for the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots on Thursday, and both of the Bills' top-two offensive tackles are dealing with groin injuries. Starter Darryl Williams was limited, while backup Ty Nsekhe did not practice.
Wide receiver John Brown remains on Injured Reserve, but is eligible to return for Monday night's game in New England, as long as the team activates him to the 53-man roster by 4 p.m. EST on Monday.
The Bills released wide receiver Jake Kumerow on Thursday, may be a precursor to creating a roster spot for Brown. However, Buffalo was unable to re-sign Kumerow to the practice squad after he was claimed off waivers by the New Orleans Saints on Friday.
Rookie defensive end A.J. Epenesa was evaluated last game for a head injury. It was determined he did not have a concussion, but by the time that was determined, the game was over. Therefore, Epenesa must be listed on this week's injury report, which explains the "Not Injury" designation.
The Patriots had a long list of players listed as "limited" on Thursday, but no one as a "did not practice."
