Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The professional football careers of the six Buffalo Bills rookies from the 2023 NFL Draft class has officially begun.

Rookies reported to training camp on Tuesday at St. John Fisher University, one week before veterans will arrive. When that happens next Tuesday, everyone will convene in Rochester for the first practice to take place on Wednesday.

Until then, veterans and “first-year players” will take part in strength and conditioning, as well as meetings at the team’s facility at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park. First-year players are defined in the collective bargaining agreement as any player who has not yet accrued one year of credited service.

Six players were selected in the 2023 draft by the club, and another seven were signed as undrafted free agents.
