The Buffalo Bills have signed guard Rodger Saffold to a one-year deal, the team announced on Monday.
Saffold was released by the Tennessee Titans last week, therefore eligible to sign a contract with any team before the NFL Free Agency period opens on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET for players on expiring contracts.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 33-year old was named to the Pro Bowl last year with the Titans, where he had spent the last three seasons in Nashville.
Prior to that, Saffold spent the first nine years of his career with the Rams, in both St. Louis and Los Angeles, where he played for new Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer in 2017 and 2018 when Kromer held the same position there.

Saffold entered the league as a second round pick by the Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Indiana University. He's played in 160 games, starting 157 of them. He's been reliable and available, missing only five games in the past six seasons, playing in 92 of a possible 97 over that time.
