Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR) - Because the Buffalo Bills play on Monday night in Week 5, they did not begin their practice week until Thursday.

When they did hit the grass fields of their outdoor practice facility in Orchard Park, cornerback Christian Benford was participating with his teammates. However, wide receiver D.J. Moore and defensive tackle Ed Oliver were not present at practice.

Benford missed last Sunday's loss against the New England Patriots with a toe injury suffered the week before against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Moore left the Patriots game early with a shoulder injury. It was the second time in three games Moore injured his shoulder and did not finish the contest.

Along with Moore and Oliver (knee), defensive backs Dee Alford (ankle) and Te'Cory Couch (hamstring) were also not present during the portion of practice open to the media.

Prior to practice, head coach Joe Brady did not give a timeline for any of the injured players.

During the session, Moore emerged from the fieldhouse and walked onto the field, but was not participating.

The Bills travel to Los Angles to take on the Rams at SoFi Stadium on Monday night.
