Bills still without Khalil Shakir, James Cook, and Ed Oliver

Taron Johnson wore a red non-contact jersey on Thursday

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - For a second-straight day, the Buffalo Bills were without three key starters at practice.

Wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle), running back James Cook (foot/toe), and defensive tackle Ed Oliver (hamstring) were all non-participants during Thursday's portion of practice that was open to the media.

Shakir and Cook did work off to the side with trainers, just as they both did on Wednesday, with Shakir appearing to do a little more on Thursday than he did the day before.

On the positive side of injury news, wide receiver Curtis Samuel (foot/toe) was back on the field after missing Wednesday's practice.

Also, nickel cornerback Taron Johnson and linebacker Terrel Bernard were no longer wearing red non-contact jerseys.

Wide receiver Mack Hollins was wearing a red non-contact jersey for the second-straight day.
