Buffalo N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have announced the trade of former 2019 second-round pick Cody Ford to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

Ford was drafted by the Bills three years ago out of the University of Oklahoma with the 38th overall selection. The 25-year-old has played both guard and tackle throughout his career with the Bills.
Of the 38 games he suited up for with Buffalo, Ford started 29 of those contests.
With Buffalo's move on Monday, it now trims the roster down to 81 players. The deadline to cut down the preseason roster to 80 players is set for 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
Ford now has the opportunity to be reunited with former college teammates Kyler Murray and Marquise "Hollywood" Brown in the desert. Ford was able to help protect Murray on the Sooners' offensive line and help him win the 2019 Heisman Trophy.
