Originally a fifth-round pick by the Bills in 2024 out of the University of Georgia, Van Pran-Granger has been a backup center to Connor McGovern since entering the league.
The Bills re-signed McGovern to a new multi-year contract this offseason, and also signed veteran Lloyd Cushenberry III to a free agent deal, leaving Van Pran-Granger fighting for a roster spot.
A league source has confirmed to WGR that the 2027 seventh-round choice the Bills are sending back to Indianapolis is their own selection. They still hold the Las Vegas Raiders' seventh-round choice in next year‘s draft, which they acquired in a draft-day trade this year.
All teams must be down to 53 players on their active roster by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
