Bills will visit Dolphins on 'Thursday Night Football' in Week 2

The full schedule for the Bills and the rest of the NFL will be released Wednesday night

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - While we won't know the full NFL schedule for the 2024 season until Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET, we do already know that the Buffalo Bills will visit the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 12 for a Week 2 showdown on "Thursday Night Football".

The announcement was made by the league and team on Tuesday.

This game is the first "Thursday Night Football" game of the season that will be streamed on Amazon Prime. The first Thursday night game comes the week before between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, which will be broadcasted on NBC.

It will be the third season in-a-row in which the two teams meet in a prime-time matchup.

The Bills have won the last three meetings between the two teams, including both matchups in 2023. Buffalo stomped the Dolphins in a Week 4 showdown in Orchard Park, 48-20, while earning a 21-14 win in South Florida in the final week of the season to clinch the team its fourth-straight AFC East championship.
