Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Down 21-10 with 6:30 left in the third quarter on Sunday night in Baltimore, the Buffalo Bills faced a 2nd-and-7 from the Ravens' 44-yard line.
Offensive coordinator Joe Brady dialed up a trick play, putting wide receiver Curtis Samuel in the backfield to take a direct snap. Samuel then flipped the ball to quarterback Josh Allen, who was lined up outside.
Allen then tried to throw the ball downfield, but was hit hard, fumbled, and the Bills lost the ball.
The Ravens took over at their own 41-yard line and scored a touchdown six plays later to make the score 28-10.
The Ravens ultimately won, 35-10.
After the game, head coach Sean McDermott said it was a play Brady would like back. Brady also admitted as much on Monday.
"It was a pretty bad play call," said Brady during his weekly Zoom call with the media. "There is no other way to dum it up."

Injuries
McDermott said safety Taylor Rapp is in concussion protocol, while wide receiver Khalil Shakir is dealing with an ankle injury they will take day-to-day throughout the week.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard is expected to practice at some point this week, according to McDermott. The Bills head coach also said there is more of a question mark surrounding cornerback Taron Johnson's status and whether or not he will practice.
The Bills will travel to Houston to face the Texans on Sunday afternoon.
