OPINION: Dolphins at Bills: Sal's keys, notes and stats

The Bills look to sweep their division rival once again on Sunday in Orchard Park

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills will look for their fourth-straight win and a 7-2 record when they host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

To do that, here are my three keys to the game, plus notes and stats:

1.) Stop... the run!

When you think of playing the Miami Dolphins, you generally think about their passing attack. However, it's been their run game that's been really good over the past few weeks.

The Dolphins have run for 193, 188, and 150 yards, respectively, over their last three games. They've averaged, at least, 4.7 yards per-carry in each of those contests.

Miami will look to run the ball against a Bills defense that ranks 27th in the NFL.

2.) Let Miami know it won't be different

The Bills have won 12 of their last 13 games against the Dolphins. Josh Allen has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week in 5 of his 11 career regular season games against Miami.

The Dolphins know all of this. They've been reminded many times of the domination the Bills have had over them.

A fast start by the Bills will bring those thoughts and reminders to the forefront right away, and put to rest any hope the Dolphins have of pulling off the upset.

3.) A few big plays

The Dolphins defense ranks 16th in the league in yards per-pass play allowed. They'll be without cornerback Kader Kohou, and likely safety Jevon Holland.

The Bills completed five passes of, at least, 20 yards last week against the Seattle Seahawks.

They'll have a chance, and need to take advantage of an under-manned Miami secondary with some big plays down the field.
