The Buffalo Bills will look to win their third game in a row on Sunday when they face the Atlanta Falcons at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

To do it, here are my three keys to the game, plus notes and stats:

1.) Be aware of Cordarrelle Patterson

Patterson is one of the best dual threats in the game, totaling 579 yards rushing and 523 yards receiving so far in 2021. His former teammate, Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs, said he's one of the best players he's ever seen with the ball in his hands. He can do everything.

The Bills can’t just focus in on him as a runner when he’s lined up in the backfield and always be aware of his ability to catch the ball, regardless of down and distance.

2.) Slow down Kyle Pitts

Pitts is within striking distance of the receiving yardage record for a rookie tight end, set 50 years ago by Mike Ditka. The Falcons will move him around the formation to try and create a mismatch, whether in-line or flexed out wide.

Pitts is 10th in the entire NFL, and first among all tight ends, in average length of catch from the line of scrimmage to where the ball is caught (10.86 yards).

The Bills will need a plan to limit his production, especially when it comes to making plays down the field.

3.) Keep pressing

Whether it’s staying aggressive on fourth downs or putting the ball in Josh Allen’s hands as often as possible, Bills head coach Sean McDermott and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll should continue to keep pressing on offense like they did a week ago in New England.

The Falcons rank 22nd in yards per-game given up on the ground, and 23rd in yards passing per-game allowed. They get the least amount of sacks pe- pass attempt, are 24th in red zone defense, and have given up the fourth most points per-game.

The Bills should be able to take advantage of their defense. They just have to keep trying.
