New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Saturday that the state is working on plans to get fans back to Buffalo Bills home games, but didn't commit to that happening, nor offer a timeline on when it might be possible.
"We are working on it. We are looking at plans that the NFL has been working on," Cuomo said, according to Heather Ly of WGRZ-TV in Buffalo. "We're looking at plans of the stadium. I'm going to take a look myself, but we are working on it now."
The Bills will host the New England Patriots on Sunday at Bills Stadium, which has yet to allow any fans for games this season due to COVID-19 concerns. It will be the team's fourth home game, with four more to follow this regular season.
