Dorin Dickerson said Friday on "The Fan Morning Show" that he doesn’t see what the big deal is with Buffalo-based chicken wings. He actually said that wings made in Pittsburgh are just as good at the wings made in the town their famous for.

“I’m tellin’ ya, I was never impressed,” said Dickerson. “I was like, I can go by Angelia’s by my house in Imperial and get just as good as wings as I did in Buffalo.

He added that the only difference is the area code in which they're made, and you can only make a wing so many ways.

He then doubled down and angered an entire country saying, “Canada has better hockey than the United States, It’s not true... the Toronto Maple Leafs are not better than the Pittsburgh Penguins.”

Dickerson said that even though chicken wings were created at “The Anchor Bar” in Buffalo, that doesn’t mean they’re better. He pointed to hamburgers and cheese steaks. Does Hamburg, Germany have the best burgers? Does Philadelphia have the best cheese steaks? Dickerson says no.

“I don’t understand the whole, ‘our chicken’s meatier’,” said show producer Adam Crowley.

Of course, his comments got some people riled up!

Dickerson may never be able to show his face in Buffalo again.
