Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR) - The same six players who did not practice for the Buffalo Bills to start the week on Tuesday were, once again, not participating on Wednesday.
Wide receiver Khalil Shakir, safety Jalon Kilgore, running back Ty Johnson, edge rusher Javon Solomon, defensive back Jordan Hancock, and offensive lineman Jude Bowry were either not present at all or working off to the side with athletic trainers.
Meanwhile, several players who returned on Tuesday were, once again, practicing outside the team’s field house on Wednesday, including linebackers Terrel Bernard and Joe Andreessen, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, wide receiver Keon Coleman, and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

“I just feel great,” Gardner-Johnson told reporters after practice. “Healthy. I thank the training staff for just keeping with me and keeping me on course.”
The Bills open the regular season a week from Sunday against the Houston Texans, the team that released Gardner-Johnson just three weeks into last season.
