With the offseason in full swing, the Buffalo Bills decided to go for the fences in free agency and sign seven-time All-Pro linebacker Von Miller.
Miller spent parts of 10 seasons with the Denver Broncos, where they drafted him second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. The 32-year-old was then traded seven games into the 2021 season to the Los Angeles Rams.
The veteran pass rusher is a two-time Super Bowl champion, a three-time First-Team All-Pro, and was the MVP of Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos.
This addition by the Bills, along with a few others like defensive tackle Tim Settle and tight end O.J. Howard, pushed our own Howard Simon to a special offseason edition of "Howard Picks the Bills!"
To help out, our colleague Brayton Wilson created a mock schedule for the 2022 season, and Howard took full advantage.
Not since the “Perfect Game” against the New England Patriots in the AFC Wild Card Round has Howard felt this good about the Bills potentially running the table all the way to a Super Bowl victory. While the playoffs weren't picked as well, Howard had legitimate difficulty picking against this current Bills team.
Howard not only has the Bills sweeping the AFC East this season, but also going 15-2 with the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC all but wrapped up.
