Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills tighten the gap for the AFC East on Sunday with a 39-34 comeback win at Highmark Stadium over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bills kept us all on the edge of our seats in the second-half. After being down 10-points in the first half, the Bills made their second-half adjustments and were able to pull out the win.

The Bills offense was having some trouble getting the ball moving downfield so in the second half the defense helped them out. Christian Benford on a cornerback blitz was able to intercept Joe Burrow and return it 63-yard touchdown for his second straight game with a turnover returned for a touchdown.

The Bills defense continued to shine the very next drive with another interception by A.J. Epenesa. The Bills offense then came to finish out the game with Bills Quarterback Josh Allen finishing with 251 passing yards, 78 rushing yards and 4 total touchdowns (3 passing and 1 rushing).

Up next for the Bills is back in the AFC East, for their second matchup that with decide the AFC East Champion between Drake Maye and the New England Patriots in Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots will enter the contest at 11-2, coming off their bye week. Drake Maye has become a star this season, having a MVP-like season with over 3,400 passing yards and 25 total touchdowns. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson has also emerged as the teams leading rusher while Rhamndre Steveson has been in-and-out of the lineup with injuries. Former Bill Stefon Diggs is leading their receivers with 705 yards.

The Patriots defense is no joke either with team leading tackler Robert Spillane. They have allowed the fifth-fewest points per-game, seventh fewest yards per-game. The only part of the defense that has lacked for the Patriots is in the red zone allowing the most points.

With four games left in the 2025 season, and the Bills only trailing by two games in the AFC East, does Howard Simon believe that the Bills can comeback and win the AFC East for a sixth-straight season?

Howard believe the Bills do have a chance to win the division after their stunning win over the Bengals. He believes that the Bills will make it tough for the Patriots as they run the tables and win all their remaining games. This would end the season as 13-4 and, potentially, locked in as the top Wild Card team in the AFC heading into the playoffs.
