It has been quite a turnaround for the Buffalo Bills over the past two weeks.

After a Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers where the offense didn't look to form and the defense did all they could in a losing effort, the Bills have put together a pair of impressive complementary wins on the 2021 schedule over the Miami Dolphins and Washington Football Team.

This past Sunday saw Buffalo returning to the friendly confines of Highmark Stadium, where the offense racked up 481 yards of total offense on Washington, and the defense forced three turnovers in a 43-21 win for the Bills in Orchard Park.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen returned to 2020 form in the Week 3 win, competing 32-of-43 pass attempts for 358 yards and four touchdowns. He also completed the day with a rushing touchdown to help the fourth-year quarterback reach the mark of 100 career total touchdowns.

Sunday's performance for Allen was the type game that may see him earn the honor of AFC Offensive Player of the Week, which he has already done six times in his NFL career. It was also the type of performance that could get his game back on track going forward after two subpar games to open the 2021 season.

Allen and the Bills will look to roll right along with their success heading into Week 4 when they welcome the Houston Texans to Highmark Stadium on Sunday.

The 2021 season for the Texans has gotten off to a disastrous start with losses in each of their first three games. Without Deshaun Watson under center for the foreseeable future in Houston, the team has had to turn to former Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor to lead the way.

However, Taylor suffered a hamstring injury in the Texans' Week 2 loss to the Cleveland Browns, resulting in rookie Davis Mills taking the reins under center going forward. He was lackluster in his first career start in Week 3, going 19-of-28 for just 168 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Carolina Panthers.

While the Bills are getting ready to face a winless Texans team destined to be one of the worst teams in the National Football League this season, Houston still has some weapons that should not be taken lightly heading into Sunday's affair.

Howard Simon has made it quite clear over the last few weeks he will not be sweating things out when the Bills kick off against the Texans in Week 4. After picking the Bills to beat Washington in Week 3, he followed that up a week later with a win over the Texans, and upping Buffalo's overall 2021 record to 14-3.
