Buffalo Bills starting safety Jordan Poyer did not practice on Wednesday after suffering an ankle injury late in the team's 43-21 win over Washington Football Team this past Sunday in Orchard Park.
Prior to practice, head coach Sean McDermott called Poyer "day-to-day," as the Bills prepare to take on the Houston Texans this upcoming week at Highmark Stadium.

Poyer's starting safety partner, Micah Hyde, was limited on Wednesday with a quad injury. Guard Jon Feliciano (illness) and cornerback Taron Johnson (groin) were also limited.
For the Texans, wide receiver Scottie Phillips (illness), defensive back Terrance Mitchell (concussion, illness), wide receiver Danny Amendola (hamstring), and quarterback Deshaun Watson (not-injury related) all did not practice, while safety Justin Reid (knee), center Justin Britt (thigh) and linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) were all limited.
