The veteran Bills safety continues to deal with knee soreness

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - One day after the Buffalo Bills listed five different players as not practicing, including three defensive backs, all but one returned to the practice field on Thursday.

Starting safety Jordan Poyer and long snapper Reid Ferguson were the only players on the active roster who did not practice. Poyer continues to deal with knee soreness, while, Ferguson was not participating with a wrist injury.

Prior to Thursday's practice, head coach Sean McDermott considered Poyer as day-to-day.

All of the other players listed on Wednesday's injury report practiced in some capacity, including fellow safety Micah Hyde, cornerback Siran Neal, defensive end Leonard Floyd, and offensive lineman Ryan Bates.

The 2-1 Bills host the 3-0 Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Orchard Park.

For Miami, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday.

However, defensive end Jaelan Phillips was one of three players not spotted by local media members during the open portion of practice.
