Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN/WGR Sports Radio 550) - It's a bird! It's a plane! Wait, it's Josh Allen, airborne over Downtown Buffalo!
A building-sized mural featuring the Buffalo Bills quarterback began to emerge on the side of the Statler Building over the weekend downtown. It's an eye-catching ad for Gatorade and says, "Is it in you?"
Allen, airborne over Buffalo, is facing the Niagara Square side of the building, and will be boldly visible to downtown commuters Monday morning as they arrive for work.
The giant ad has been getting traction on social media throughout the weekend, with expressions of approval and some questioning the use of the side of the building and facing the historic Niagara Square.
For those on the questionable side, the ad is temporarily covering most of the windows on the side of the building, and is vinyl, not permanent or paint.
There's been no word from the City of Buffalo or the Bills about the ad, however this is one time that Allen going "airborne" may be approved by head coach Sean McDermott.
