Phoenix, Arizona (WGR550) - After having foot surgery shortly after last season ended in the AFC Divisional Round playoffs in Denver, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen should be "full-go" for offseason work, general manager Brandon Beane told reporters Monday here at the annual league meetings in Phoenix.
"I don't want to say it's 100-percent, but he's good," Beane said. "When he gets back in April, we expect him to be full-go."
Because the Bills have a new head coach, the team can begin their offseason workout program on April 6, two weeks before teams with returning head coaches. The team has not released its official offseason program dates yet, but when they do show up in Orchard Park for strength and conditioning work, Beane expects Allen to be there and able to do everything.
"Our medical team has checked up on him and he's talked to the surgeon that's done it," Beane said when asked about the process of recovery. "I don't know every single conversation they've had, but (head athletic trainer) Nate Breske and his team, and (team physician) Les Bisson have let us know he's on track and should be ready to roll once we're actually doing football stuff here in April.....I'm not aware of anything to be limited."
