Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was very productive last season when he was on the field. He finished 10th in the NFL amongst all tight ends with 47.6 yards per-game, and second-most at his position (minimum 20 catches) with 14.6 yards per-reception. He also led all tight ends in the league with 2.76 yards per-route run.

But due to knee injuries, he wasn't on the field as much as he or the team expected or wanted.

It was the second year in-a-row Kincaid missed time with knee issues. He missed four games in 2024, then five games last year.

After the 2025 season ended, Kincaid revealed it was a torn PCL he suffered in 2024, and it kept flaring up and causing issues last year. He elected not to have surgery, and just let it heal on its own.

“After the season ended, I talked to a lot of doctors who know a lot more than I do regarding the PCL and everything that has to do with health, and they advised against it," Kincaid told reporters Tuesday following the team's voluntary OTAs session in Orchard Park. "So believe them, and that kind of went into setting a good foundation for strength around the need to support it."

Kincaid says he would’ve had surgery had the doctors recommended it, but that wasn't the case.

"I got plenty of opinions from people, great doctors, a bunch of team doctors around the league. So I went with their suggestions and opinions,” he said.

Kincaid, who was not wearing any sort off sleeve or brace on his knee, said he felt really good on the field Tuesday, and added he isn't even thinking about the knee or the injuries while out there.
