Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - After a tough end of the 2022 season with a loss in the AFC Divisional Round to the Cincinnati Bengals, Howard Simon is back on the high horse and gearing up for the 2023 Buffalo Bills season.
While Buffalo’s offseason has been relatively quiet to this point, offense has been a central focus point of general manager Brandon Beane and his front office staff. That was never more apparent than the team’s approach to the 2023 NFL Draft this past weekend in Kansas City.
With their first-round selection, the Bills ended up trading up two spots on the draft board to select tight end Dalton Kincaid with the 25th pick. They also went on to bolster the offensive line with two draft picks, and even added another wide receiver in the fifth round.
While the offseason chugs along and more moves likely to be made this offseason, all that’s remaining to be determined before training camp this summer in Pittsfield is the 2023 regular season schedule. And while the schedule release date is not set in stone at this time, it is expected for the NFL to release the schedule next Thursday night.
The lack of a set-in-stone schedule is not stopping Howard from picking the Bills, though, as he just couldn’t wait to get in the tradition unlike any other a touch early!
The big questions ahead of the 2023 season are who will the Bills play Week 1, and how many prime-time games will Buffalo be featured in?

In a mock schedule submitted by a fan of the segment on Tuesday, it has the Bills starting off the 2023 season at home against the Miami Dolphins on “Monday Night Football”. In addition to playing this season in London, this mock schedule also has the Bills playing a total of six times in prime-time.
When all was said and done, Howard picked the Bills to finish the 2023 mock season with an 11-6 record, including four wins in the AFC East. He has the Bills sweeping their series with the New England Patriots, and splitting their series with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
