Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Training camp is well underway for the Buffalo Bills, as the focus ahead of the 2023 season is now on football following Wednesday's first day of clearing the air between wide receiver Stefon Diggs and the team.

On the practice field, the Bills enter training camp at St. John Fisher University with a healthy secondary on defense with Tre'Davious White, Jordan Poyer, and Micah Hyde ready to be a full-go. Bills head coach Sean McDermott is happy to know his corners and safeties are all in good spirits at the start of camp.

"It was not an easy situation, but I thought the players handled it extremely well," McDermott said of last season during the "Jeremy White Show" on Thursday. "They came to work every week and competed, and that's all you can ask for."

Last season for White was a tough one after coming off surgery to repair an ACL tear on Thanksgiving in 2021. Despite playing six regular season games and Buffalo's two playoff games, White took some time to finally start looking like himself on the field.

At the start of camp, McDermott feels White is back to his normal self, being very energetic on and off the field.

"I saw an even more normal version of 'Tre' out there," McDermott said with Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase. "Energy, singing, dancing, and when you know he's doing that, you know he's in a good spot."
