Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The league-wide love for the Buffalo Bills has been quite prevalent this offseason, with a number of media outlets and other league pundits putting the team at the top of the NFL food chain in the league.

This includes NFL writer for NBC Sports, Peter King, who just had the Bills ranked No. 1 overall in his 2022 NFL Power Rankings ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers in the top-five.
King took some time on Thursday to join the "Extra Point Show" with Sal Capaccio and Joe DiBiase to talk about the rise of the current Bills explain further where the team stands compared to the rest of the NFL.
One of the biggest reasons for the rise of the Bills has been quarterback Josh Allen. King holds Allen in very high regard compared to other quarterbacks around the league for his presence both on and off the field. This includes his actions for the Buffalo community after the tragedy the East Side community suffered nearly three weeks ago.
“What a real good job he did speaking for the organization, and speaking how all the hearts of Western New York are breaking,” said King during his appearance on WGR.
King also mentioned that in his next column, he will be choosing the 22 most influential people in the NFL, which Allen will be a part of.
Meanwhile, King also provided his perspective on the Bills and their new stadium that should be set to open in 2026.
“Here’s the way I look at it: The Bills and Western New York are fortunate for two things. No. 1, Roger Goodell has a very soft spot in his heart for the Buffalo Bills. ... The other part of this is the Governor [Kathy Hochul] being such a Buffalo person,” King said.
