Part of the reason for Buffalo's collapse was turnover, as Buffalo turned the ball over four times against the Vikings. Three of the turnovers came due to Josh Allen - two interceptions and a fumble - and the other a Devin Singletary fumble.

Over the past two games, the Bills have accounted for six turnovers, which have attributed to two losses on the schedule and the team losing their spot atop both the AFC East and conference standings.

“We had opportunities to win the game, and we have to do a better job taking care of the football," said Bills head coach Sean McDermott, who spoke with the media following Sunday's loss. "I know I say it a lot, and we talk about it every week. It makes it awfully hard to win a football game.”

One major storyline coming into the game was the health of Allen, who missed most of practice this week with an elbow injury. The fifth-year starter ended up missing two days of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, while being a limited participant on Friday.

“We followed the doctor's plan all week. That’s really what we did and went from there,” McDermott said.

As for the status of Allen's elbow during Sunday's game, McDermott reiterated that his quarterback was not limited by his elbow injury on Sunday.

“During the game, he was not impacted," he said. "After the game, I saw him briefly on my way here and checked in with him, but he seems fine up to this point.”
